Job Description
Zeller is scaling quickly and we are looking for a HR Coordinator to work closely with the HR Lead to deliver a seamless employee experience.
This role will see you working as part of a small team and being exposed to a wide range of HR tasks across all stages of the employee lifecycle. This role will be perfect for someone who likes working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable juggling many things at once, and wants to experience what it’s like to work at a fast-growing scale-up environment where things move at lightning speed and no two days are the same!

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Coordinate new hire onboarding, probation reviews, promotions, remuneration reviews, parental leave requests, and exits with accuracy and care.
  • Employee Experience: Play an active role in ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding and welcome experience for our new hires.
  • HR Information Systems (HRIS): Maintain our HRIS (Employment Hero), ensuring data accuracy and integrity at all times.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with managers and employees to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Employee Support: Be the go-to person for HR operational queries and questions—from leave and HR system access to policy and benefits guidance.
  • Compliance & Policies: Support the HR Lead with ensuring compliance and making sure we have up-to-date, relevant, and easy-to-understand policies and guidelines in place for our global workforce.
  • Process Improvement: Work with the HR Lead to support the implementation of scalable processes that are fit for purpose as we grow.
  • Proactive Initiatives: Proactively identify opportunities to improve the experience for our employees.
  • Culture & Events: Actively participate in continuing to develop our culture through fun events and activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-2 years experience in a HR Administration or HR Coordination role (or a strong desire to move into HR from an admin background).
  • Experience administering an HRIS (experience with Employment Hero is a plus) and maintaining high-quality data.
  • Experience coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing confidential and sensitive information with high discretion.
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and communication tools like Slack.

Attributes

  • Exceptional attention to detail—you are the person who spots the typo or the missing date in a contract.
  • Excellent at juggling multiple priorities and able to pivot as needed.
  • Creative, proactive, and a team player who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
  • Passionate about problem-solving and process improvement—you love finding a better way to do things.
  • Previous experience in a startup or tech environment would be great but isn’t mandatory.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences.
