Based in San Francisco, California, Unbabel works with leading customer support and marketing teams at brands such as Facebook, Microsoft, Booking.com, and Under Armour to communicate effortlessly with customers around the world, no matter what language they speak.

Responibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Community Operations Quality Lead within the Community team.
• Assist in analyzing quality annotation results and investigating quality issues and support the team in creating reports and proposals to improve the quality of translations.
• Review and enhance reference materials used by communities to ensure high-quality linguistic work, contributing to the review and maintenance of instructional guidelines and a systematic maintenance schedule.
• Help Community Managers understand translator behavior and provide actionable feedback.
• Work with Linguistic Engineers to analyze quality concerns, identify root causes, and propose scalable solutions.
• Report to the Head of Community Development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Applied Languages or Translation Studies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English (C1 CEFR level).
• Good knowledge of at least one foreign language (other than native one and English) and/or previous experience in translation is a plus.
• Knowledge of Google products (Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides) at a proficient level.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Outstanding people skills that enable you to engage in conversations with our community through emails, sometimes dealing with sensitive topics.
• Curiosity, being able to innovate to find creative solutions and willing to explore new technologies.
