What’s the opportunity about?

We are looking for a Junior Security Engineer working to ensure that the Unbabel service continues to adhere to best practices in security systems.

You will be working with Unbabel’s security engineering team. Your role will cover security aspects of infrastructure, SDLC, and application lifecycle. It also includes supporting revenue with security compliance support when needed.

The role will report directly to Unbabel's Security Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Unbabel’s vulnerability management program and incident response plan;
• Contributing to security policies and procedures owned by the Engineering team;
• Participating in Unbabel’s security awareness training program;
• Managing secure design in Unbabel’s SDLC;
• Contributing to Unbabel’s SIEM solution;
• Collaborate with teams outside of Engineering to address security concerns.

Requirements

• 2+ years working in a security role;
• BSc or equivalent qualification in Information/Technical Security.
