We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) who is passionate, driven, and excited by the opportunity to break into new markets and open doors for our sales team. This is a high-activity, outbound-focused role, where cold calling is your primary responsibility. You will be the first point of contact with prospective customers, introducing them to Trellis' innovative solutions and setting the stage for meaningful sales conversations.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to prospective customers daily
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Trellis’ products, value propositions, and target markets
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach and activities in our CRM (HubSpot)
- Consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly activity and pipeline generation goals
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and prospecting strategies
- Stay up to date on industry trends, legal tech innovations, and competitive landscape
Who You Are:
- 1+ year of experience in an outbound sales or lead generation role, preferably in SaaS, tech, or legal markets
- Proven success and comfort with cold calling as a primary activity
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of drive and resilience
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and embrace feedback
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus)
