We are seeking a Working Student to join our QA team, focusing on testing and ensuring the quality of our front-end applications. Our team is at the center of the full software stack at Smartfrog&Canary, providing you with exposure to a variety of technologies and engineering disciplines.

What you'll be up to:

• You will assist our QA Team in building, maintaining, and executing test plans and scenarios for front-end applications.
• You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of releases that affect the experience of hundreds of thousands of Canary customers.
• Your work will closely collaborate with both product and engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient product development.

What you'll need to have:

• You are currently enrolled in a university program (Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields preferred).
• A strong interest in quality assurance and a passion for testing front-end applications (no formal degree required, but relevant coursework or experience is a plus).
• Experience in software testing, with a focus on iOS, Android, and/or Web applications, is a plus.
• Basic experience with front-end testing tools and frameworks (such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus.

Bonus points:

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA).
• Familiarity with front-end automated testing tools like XCUITest, Playwright, or similar.
• Experience with at least 1 complete product cycle, from inception to customer shipment.
