Job Summary:
Ready to lead the charge in sustainable innovation? As a Product Manager at Roadrunner, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to achieve Zero Waste. You'll strategically define product roadmaps, prioritize game-changing features, and craft user stories, all while leveraging AI to create cutting-edge internal tools and customer-facing products. Primary Duties:

  • 40% - Product Development and Execution:
    • Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, working closely with engineering, design, and QA teams.
    • Write detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
    • Manage sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily check-ins, ensuring timely delivery of product releases.
    • Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • 30% - Product Strategy and Roadmap:
    • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business value.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends in LLMs, agentic AI, and data architecture to make informed decisions
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and success metrics.
  • 20% - Stakeholder Management and Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and updates.
    • Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Gather and incorporate feedback from customers, sales, marketing, and support teams.
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • 10% - Product Analysis and Optimization:
    • Analyze product usage data and metrics to identify trends and insights.
    • Conduct testing and other experiments to optimize product performance and user experience.
    • Continuously iterate and improve the product based on data-driven insights and customer feedback.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies with a specific focus on AI.

  • Reports To: Vice President of Product Management

  • Interacts with: Technology Team, Leadership, Cross Functional Stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional product management experience and a desire to grow your skillset.
  • Experience with LLMs; understanding how to leverage AI to analyze data, evaluating problems to determine if utilizing AI to solve them is a viable option, and evaluating the quality of the AI output.
  • Enthusiasm for our sustainability driven mission.
  • Experience creating product requirements documents and building product process from the ground up.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, or similar.
  • Self-Driven and able to work autonomously
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to balance customer needs with business strategy
  • Detail oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and have an eagerness to learn current and future business processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
  • Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving. Solid decision making in a timely manner.

Preferred:

  • Experience building out product teams in a fast-growing environment
  • Experience with UI/UX design principles.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience required
