Job Summary:
The Data Validation Specialist will report to the Data Validation Manager and be a key contributor to the team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate evaluation and organization of incoming data from potential customers. Once evaluated, you are responsible for developing and executing a plan to collect any missing data needed to get the account ready for input and build out locations in Coyote. You will learn the complex nuances of the business and industry and be expected to collaborate extensively with internal teams to validate and optimize the data process, as well as work with a high volume of accounts lead by specific timelines.
Primary Duties Including % of time:
- 75% - Organize, Evaluate, and Create action plans to collect missing information on incoming customer data
- 10% - Communicate via internal messenger and phone calls with sales, data entry, pricing analysts, potential customers & leadership to ensure accuracy of data
- 10% - Ensure BOX notes are updated accordingly when information is collected
- 5% - Attend Weekly and Bi-Weekly Meetings to discuss potential improvements etc
Travel required: 5%
Organizational Relationship:
- Reports To: Data Validation Manager
- Direct Reports: 0
- Interacts with: Inside and Outside Sales, Data Entry, Analysts and Potential Customers
Skills and Experience:
- 1-2 years of Sales or Data/Analyst Experience preferably within the waste industry.
- The ability to effectively communicate asks both with internal and external stakeholders via internal messenger and phone calls.
- Proficiency with BOX and Salesforce Coyote experience preferred
- Detail oriented with a high level of data integrity
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics, and ownership
- Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp tactical details
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision
- Accurately interpret data from internal systems
- Capable of working a high volume of accounts under pressure timelines
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics preferred
