Job Summary:
Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? As a Business Operations Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in driving our company's success by creating and maintaining dynamic reporting datasets. Your focus will be on customer performance, management KPIs, data outliers, and other intriguing ad-hoc projects.
In this role, you'll collaborate with talented managers and end users from diverse departments, including Operations, Finance, Customer Success, Pricing, and Analysis. Your mission? To understand and address their data needs, helping them achieve their goals through accurate and insightful reporting.

Primary Duties Including % of time
  • 15% - Meet with managers and report end users to understand their goals, current processes, challenges, and wishes to determine how data can be used to improve their function
  • 60% - Prioritize, plan, build/update, and rigorously test SQL-based reporting dashboards to address various business needs, thoroughly documenting the logic behind each report to insure the resulting data is used and interpreted correctly
  • 25% - Monitor usage of existing reports in order to maintain and streamline RoadRunner’s reporting library

  • Interacts with: Analysis, Operations, Finance, Customer Success, Pricing
Skills and Experience:
  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or operations management
  • Intermediate computer skills; Experience and understanding of Excel and SQL
  • Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics, and ownership.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details.
  • Ability to use statistical analysis and be mathematically sound.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills is dynamic and can capture a group’s interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
  • Proven time management skills having the ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving. Solid decision making in a timely manner.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, ability to work in a team environment.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree from an accredited 2-year college or university
