Raisin is the world's leading platform for savings and investment products. Founded in 2012, the FinTech connects consumers with banks in the EU, the UK and the US. This gives consumers better interest rates and banks a diversified form of refinancing. Our vision is to offer savings and investments without barriers and thus open up the global +150 trillion euro market.

Raisin works with over 300 banks. Today, the platform holds over 75 billion euros in assets from around one million customers which have accrued over 5 billion euros in interest with their investments.

Raisin Bank is a pan-European B2B2X service bank, providing flexible and innovative Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions to financial service providers and platforms across Europe.

By combining a cloud-based BaaS platform with deep banking expertise, we enable our partners to launch and scale modern financial products. Our platform covers critical banking capabilities and must meet high standards in terms of reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.

Team

The Payments Platform Team owns the end-to-end payment processing landscape of Raisin Bank — from payment initiation through clearing and settlement.

This includes, among others:

  • SEPA Credit Transfers and SEPA Instant Payments
  • TARGET services (e.g. T2)
  • Cross-border payment standards (e.g. CBPR+)
  • Local payments (e.g. PLN payments)
  • Transaction monitoring, including sanctions and fraud screening

Some capabilities are provided through external vendors, while others are developed and operated in-house. The team works closely with engineering, compliance, operations, and external payment partners to ensure smooth, compliant, and scalable payment flows.

As a Working Student, you will support a Product Manager in this team and gain hands-on exposure to how payment systems are designed, operated, and continuously improved in a regulated banking environment.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Product Manager in day-to-day work and ongoing initiatives across the payments domain.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning, coordination, and documentation of initiatives within the payment processing domain.
  • Assisting with the preparation and follow-up of meetings with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
  • Helping to maintain and structure product or project documentation (e.g. requirements, process descriptions, presentations).
  • Supporting analysis of payment flows, operational metrics, or regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with backlog preparation, prioritisation discussions, and roadmap updates.
  • Contributing to transparency and alignment by tracking progress, dependencies, and open topics.
  • Gaining a solid understanding of payment processing, transaction monitoring, and related regulatory frameworks.

This role offers the opportunity to learn how complex banking platforms are managed and evolved in close collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated working student who is eager to learn and interested in banking, payments, and financial technology.

You bring:

  • Ongoing studies in Business, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking.
  • Interest in payment systems, financial infrastructure, or regulated environments.
  • A reliable and organised working style, with attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders.
  • Very good written and spoken English (German is a plus, but not required).

Ideally, you also have:

  • First exposure to banking, fintech, or payment-related topics (e.g. through coursework, internships, or student jobs).
  • Basic understanding of how software systems interact (e.g. APIs, workflows, or data flows).
  • Curiosity about how regulation, technology, and operations come together in financial services.
