Your Responsibilities
Product Management at Raisin requires a blend of strategic vision, technical know-how, and interpersonal skills. Here’s what you can expect:
Data Discovery & Understanding
Explore the company’s data landscape to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and new opportunities. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into product initiatives.
Product Execution & Delivery
Translate business needs into clear product requirements and actionable user stories. Write, refine, and prioritize tickets in collaboration with engineering to ensure smooth, on-time delivery.
Backlog Management & Grooming
Own the product backlog - define acceptance criteria, maintain clarity and prioritization, and run sprint planning and refinement sessions.
Cross-Functional Communication
Keep stakeholders informed on progress, priorities, and trade-offs. Make complex data topics understandable and actionable for business partners.
Roadmap Support & Planning
Contribute to the product roadmap and quarterly OKRs, aligning data product goals with broader company objectives. Ensure that short-term execution supports long-term vision.
Feature Implementation & Quality
Collaborate with engineers to implement and validate data features, dashboards, and models - with a focus on usability, performance, and accuracy.
Support data governance, quality, and compliance initiatives.
Help establish standards that ensure trust and reliability in company data.
Continuous Improvement
Analyze product impact, gather feedback, and iterate quickly to drive measurable business outcomes.
Your Profile
Must haves:
1+ years of experience in Product Management
2+ years experience working on/with technology-powered products, in product-adjacent areas e.g. development, operations
Hands-on expertise in data analytics and practice in enabling data driven decisions
Eager to learn and grow your skills in data products and understanding of Raisin’s business domain
Organised and comfortable moving multiple topics in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to haves:
Basic understanding of data infrastructure components like Snowflake, Looker, and their integration in complex systems.
Experience leading a cross-functional team of engineers
Important attributes for this role:
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset (ideally with a bachelor degree, or previous experience in an analytical discipline)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
A proactive problem-solving approach
Interested in learning the fintech domain - no prior experience required
