  • Act as process owner for invoice-related activities, aligning across accounting, controlling, and business units.
  • Pro-active approach and hands-on mentality
Financial Controlling & Reporting Support
  • Oversee and guide processes related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities across teams and systems.
  • Support internal and external audits (financial, tax, regulatory), ensuring all required documentation and data are prepared on time.
  • Drive consistency and improvement in management reporting processes and tooling.
Process Design & Continuous Improvement
  • Pro-actively identify process gaps and inefficiencies and proactively lead improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments (Finance, Risk, Reg Rep, Product, Operations, Legal, Tech) to align on cross-functional processes.
  • Develop documentation, templates, and standards to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the finance team.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and audit-readiness of all finance-related processes and outputs.
Your Profile
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CFA, Steuerberater) are a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, or controlling, ideally within banking, fintech, or financial services.
  • Deep expertise in RechKredV and solid knowledge of HGB & IFRS.
  • Proven track record in year-end closings with financial audits, as well as month-end closings and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong understanding of tax frameworks (VAT, WHT) and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with core banking systems (e.g., Mambu) and ERP/accounting tools (e.g., NetSuite); advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Skilled in process ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and project management.
  • Pro-active, flexible, detail-oriented, and solution-driven, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
