We are one of the fastest-growing podcast & audiobook platforms in Europe, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Web Engineer to join our tech team in Vilnius - someone who takes the initiative, owns quality end-to-end, builds for production, and makes AI a natural part of how they work.

This is the role

The Intake team at Podimo is looking for a talented Senior Web Engineer who takes full ownership of their work, from feature inception to completion, and excels in cross-team collaboration. Our mission is to bring new listeners into Podimo and help them discover content they love - we build the experiences, from the homepage and content exploration to signup and onboarding, that turn curious visitors into engaged listeners.

You'll work across Podimo's web and TV products - the website (homepage, content exploration, show pages, and signup and onboarding flows) and the Podimo TV app - to activate and onboard users effectively across many markets.

You'll own features end-to-end (architecture, implementation, tests, observability, and a clean production rollout), use AI agents to keep feedback loops tight and raise what one engineer can deliver, and help shape where web goes next: reliability, the design system, and how the team adopts AI.

Your role and responsibilities

• Build and ship features end-to-end across our web and TV products, from architecture and implementation to tests, observability, and a clean production rollout

• Own quality and build for production: handle errors, degraded backends, caching, and edge cases - not just the happy path

• Keep our products healthy: monitor dashboards, logs, and tooling, and ship safely behind feature flags

• Drive how we adopt AI in web development, scope work for agents, review and verify their output, shifting from hands-on builder toward reviewer/orchestrator

• Build AI agents and automation workflows that speed up how we develop, test, and ship, and refine them as our tooling matures

• Collaborate from day one with engineers, product, design, and analytics, and raise standards through our shared design system and patterns

Our tech stack

• Web: Next.js (App Router), React, and TypeScript

• TV: React and TypeScript on Vite, for Tizen and webOS smart TVs

• Data: GraphQL (Apollo, code-generated types)

• Testing: Playwright for integration/e2e, Vitest for unit

• Observability & delivery: Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry; GitLab CI with continuous deployment; GrowthBook feature flags

• Shared: a cross-product design system used by both web and TV

This is you

We care about how you think and grow. You move fast, communicate clearly, and see quality as a product feature, not a phase at the end.

• 5+ years building production web applications

• Strong grasp of modern frontend architecture and the trade-offs between server- and client-side rendering

• You own quality end-to-end: testing, reliability, and observability in production

• You're fluent with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar): you scope and prompt them well, build agentic workflows, and critically review and verify what they produce

• You communicate like an owner: share early, ask questions, take proactive ownership end-to-end, and sweat the details

• Great communication skills in English

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
