Podimo
Senior IT Manager
We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe and we are now looking for a Senior IT Manager to join our growing team.
Come and join us on our journey to enrich lives through listening.
This is the role
We’re seeking a Senior IT Manager to ensure a smooth and efficient IT experience for all employees.
You’ll be working out of our Copenhagen HQ in the heart of Vesterbro, Copenhagen - and you will report directly to our CTO, Tomas Šereikis.
You’ll get ownership of essential platforms, from Google Workspace and Slack to meeting room equipment and cybersecurity, handling everything from tech troubleshooting and security to onboarding support. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact and keep our technology running smoothly in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Your main responsibilities in this role:
Equipment Management: Oversee and maintain all IT equipment across the business, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and other devices. This includes regular maintenance, upgrades, and ensuring all employees have the tools they need to succeed.
Ownership of Digital Systems:Take charge of key digital platforms (SaaS services), including Google Workspace, Slack, and other productivity tools, ensuring they are set up, secure, and optimised for company use. You’ll handle and automate user management, permissions, SSO, and troubleshooting to maintain effective communication and collaboration.
Office Setup & Meeting Room Equipment:Set up and maintain the technology in our HQ in Copenhagen (and our other offices if needed), with a focus on meeting room equipment (cameras, displays, conference systems) and communal IT tools to support smooth meetings and presentations. You may be required to travel to other Podimo offices to oversee their equipment as well.
Handling IT Requests: Act as the go-to person for IT support. Respond to and resolve employee IT requests, provide tech support across a range of issues, and maintain a high level of customer service. This includes onboarding and offboarding employees, as well as providing training on equipment and systems as needed.
Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain cybersecurity practices, including firewall management, antivirus software, and data protection protocols for macOS environments. Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and respond to any security incidents. Collaborate on initiatives for threat detection, monitoring, and incident response.
This is you
We’re looking for a person who’s not just great with tech, but also with people. You’ll be the go-to person when colleagues need support, so patience, clear communication, and a helpful mindset are key. We’d love someone proactive, collaborative, and adaptable; someone who can solve problems before they become issues and explain tech in a way everyone understands. If you’re curious, reliable, and enjoy helping others succeed, you’ll feel right at home here.
Experience we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in IT support, including managing hardware, software, and systems in a corporate setting.
- Experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, and other workplace collaboration tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of AV equipment and office setups, especially for meeting rooms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices in macOS environments, including firewall management, encryption, endpoint security, and threat detection.
Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
These are the benefints
- Parental Leave: Up to six months of fully paid parental leave for all new parents.
- Equity Participation: All employees have the opportunity to benefit from company growth through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
- Supportive Culture: Unlimited child sick days, free online therapy sessions, and a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Flexibility & Well-being: Flexible hours and remote work options to support work-life balance.
- Performance, Learning & Development: Access to resources to help you thrive and build your career within a high-growth, dynamic company.
This is the hiring process
First things first: we ask you to submit your CV or provide a link to your LinkedIn profile. Sharing your motivation for the job is highly appreciated, but not expected. If we pick your application to continue to the interview stage, this is how we plan to run the interview process:
- A short phone or video screening
- First interview with the hiring manager
- Case session with the primary stakeholders
- Final interview with the hiring manager
We might change it up to make sure it makes sense. Our main focus is to run an efficient and enjoyable interview process. We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and the preferred starting date is ASAP.
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
