Director, Total Rewards & People Insights

This is the role

As our new Director, Total Rewards & People Insights, you’ll play a pivotal role in building data-driven, equitable people strategies that scale with our growth. You’ll lead our Total Rewards and People Insights agenda, driving strategy, execution, and leadership engagement across key areas like compensation, benefits, equity, and analytics. Your work will directly influence executive decision-making and support our ambition to build a fair, competitive rewards strategy that fully aligns with our values.

You’ll report directly to our Chief People & Culture Officer and be part of the People & Culture team. The role is preferably based out of our HQ in Copenhagen.

What you'll do:

  • Design, implement, and manage global compensation and benefits programs, policies, and frameworks across multiple markets and business units in collaboration with our Learning & Development Lead.
  • Ensure our reward strategy aligns with our business objectives and supports a diverse and equitable workplace. This includes regular salary benchmarking, pay structure analysis, and job evaluations to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
  • Take ownership of the People Insights agenda and key metrics - ensuring we track, analyse, and act on data-driven insights to guide and adjust our people strategy in alignment with business needs.
  • Own and maintain the integrations between our people, systems and tools to ensure seamless data flow, efficiency, and a smooth user experience.
  • Collaborate with People Partners and Finance to ensure pay and benefit data accuracy, compliance, and reporting.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on people analytics, global compensation and benefits trends, compliance, and best practice
  • Drive awareness and understanding of our total rewards offerings across the business through engaging communication and training
  • Support M&A and expansion efforts with due diligence and integration planning related to total rewards.

This is you

If being a proactive, communicative, and ambitious team player resonates with you, you might be in the right place! Do you love to spot trends in data and insights, and do you know how to translate data into strategy and execution?

  • You bring 5+ years of solid experience in compensation and benefits at a global level, ideally in a high-growth tech or media environment.
  • You have great experience working with salary benchmarking tools and global equity programs.
  • You’re analytical and data-driven, but also people-centric - you know how to balance numbers with the human impact.
  • You excel at translating complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders and thrive when presenting to executive teams or boards.
  • You thrive in an international environment and are comfortable navigating complexity, ambiguity, and change.
  • You’re a strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude - ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
