OUR PURPOSE AT PLANCRAFT

Building the backbone of European trades – together, with modern software and smart AI solutions.
We don’t just develop software – we’re on a mission to give tradespeople and contractors more room to focus on what matters. We do this by providing a practical SaaS solution that works the way they do: fast, efficient, and without unnecessary administrative overhead. Supported by smart AI features exactly where they make a real difference in everyday work.
Backed by Tier 1 investors from Europe and the US such as Headline and Creandum, and with more than 30,000 craftspeople as our customer base, we are scaling across Europe to turn individual, scattered businesses into connected and successful communities.
We believe in zero admin, not zero personality – and we build every feature with the people wearing safety boots in mind, not suits. We’re excited to shape the future together as a team, staying grounded in our mission to empower the builders and makers of tomorrow.

In this role, you will contribute directly to one of our key growth initiatives: building and scaling PORTA by plancraft. With PORTA, we’re developing a digital front desk for trades businesses – starting with an AI-powered phone assistant that captures and structures customer inquiries and reduces daily interruptions.

YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT

As a Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you own and build PORTA’s performance marketing engine from the ground up, developing and scaling a full-funnel growth system that drives efficient pipeline generation, validates new markets, and establishes a strong competitive position internationally.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build and own PORTA’s full-funnel performance marketing setup from scratch, across paid channels (e.g. Google, Meta, TikTok, others depending on strategy)
  • Develop and execute go-to-market and growth strategies for a new product in a competitive environment
  • Identify and test new channels, audiences, and messaging to find product-market fit and scalable acquisition strategies
  • Drive international market expansion, including market prioritization, localization, testing, and scaling
  • Continuously optimize campaigns, budgets, creatives, and funnels based on both performance and downstream business impact
  • Design and execute structured experiments across the funnel (creative, channel, targeting, landing pages, pricing signals, etc.)
  • Build reporting and dashboards that connect marketing performance with pipeline and revenue outcomes
  • Identify and resolve tracking, attribution, and data quality issues early in the scaling phase
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Brand, Content, Sales, and RevOps to align growth strategy with product positioning and market needs
  • Introduce scalable processes, automation, and best practices as the system grows

YOUR PROFILE

Must-haves:
  • 4+ years in performance marketing, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth environments
  • Strong expertise across key performance marketing channels (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Programmatic)
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling campaigns and budgets with clear ownership of performance outcomes
  • Ability to build and scale performance marketing setups from scratch (0→1), not only optimize existing accounts
  • Track record of launching products or entering new markets in competitive environments
  • Ability to identify, validate, and scale new acquisition channels and growth levers
  • Deep understanding of full-funnel metrics (lead → MQL → revenue) and performance optimization
  • Strong command of analytics and tracking tools (e.g. GA4, Google Tag Manager, reporting tools)
  • Solid understanding of attribution models and performance measurement
  • Strong testing mindset with hypothesis-driven experimentation approaches
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Clear and effective communication across different stakeholders
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1/C2 level), both written and verbal
  • Curiosity to explore how AI can support performance marketing and eagerness to continuously develop skills

Nice-to-haves:
  • Background in B2B SaaS or similar lead generation-driven business models
  • Experience driving international market entry, including localization, testing, and scaling strategies
  • Hands-on experience with advanced attribution setups (e.g. offline conversions, CRM integrations)
  • Mentoring or informal leadership experience within performance or growth teams

WHY PLANCRAFT?

  • Team Spirit: We’re driven by passion, commitment, and a shared mission. Team spirit matters to us — and we make it visible: with four major team event weeks per year, casual monthly on-site and remote formats, and a strong recognition culture where we regularly celebrate both the big and small wins together.
  • Ownership: You’re encouraged to take ownership from day one. In a flat hierarchy and high-trust environment, you’re empowered to make meaningful decisions and drive real impact.
  • Learning & Growth: We invest in your personal and professional development through a strong feedback culture, a personal learning budget, and targeted enablement formats. Our goal is to help you unlock your full potential.
  • AI Enablement: Our internal tools and workflows are AI-enabled by design. We support every team and individual in applying AI at the next level in their daily work, including getting your own ChatGPT+ license, of course.
  • Tech & Tooling: You’ll receive a MacBook, premium headphones, and everything else you need — from hardware to tools — to be effective in your daily doing.
  • Flexibility: Whether Hybrid, or on-site — you work where you’re at your best. Our Hamburg office at Rödingsmarkt (with a rooftop terrace) is always open, and you decide each week how often you come in. And if you need a change of scenery, working abroad worldwide up to 2 months is always an option.
  • Recharge: To ensure the needed rest, we offer 30 vacation days per year (based on a 5-day week) plus Dec 24th off. We also subsidize your Urban Sports Club membership and organize internal sport meetups.
  • Mobility: You can lease a "JobRad" (Bike) and get a subsidized "Deutschlandticket" or "BahnCard" for public transport to be supported in your commute.
  • International Environment: We’re becoming more international every month, with team members already in Italy, France, the Netherlands, and Austria — which is why English is our internal company language.
