We are seeking a proactive and pragmatic Commercial Paralegal with a strong grounding in contract management, commercial agreements, and legal operations to support our global Legal function. This is an exciting opportunity to join the in-house legal team of a fast-growing software company, working closely with stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.

In the first 90 days, the Commercial Paralegal will be expected to:

  • Build trust with internal stakeholders
  • Take ownership of contract management processes across the EMEA and JAPAC regions
  • Learn our software offering and the martech ecosystem
  • Become familiar with our standard templates, contract playbooks, and approval workflows
  • Support our U.S. Contract Manager to ensure global consistency

Please note: This is not a training contract and may not suit those seeking a traditional legal qualification route.

What You Will Do

  • Draft, review, redline, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements (e.g., SaaS, vendor, technology, NDAs, MSAs, and partnership agreements)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts are aligned with business priorities and legal standards
  • Act as the primary contract point of contact for EMEA and JAPAC
  • Maintain and prioritise a contract queue, balancing urgency with risk mitigation
  • Manage contract workflows via Salesforce and our contract management system
  • Own the digital contract repository: upload, track, and set alerts for renewals, expiries, and obligations
  • Provide training and guidance on standard terms, templates, and processes
  • Support the U.S. legal team and assist with global process harmonisation
  • Prepare and deliver contract-related metrics, reports, and process improvements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a paralegal or legal operations role
  • Substantial experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (especially SaaS or technology-related)
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely, with regular collaboration across time zones
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with commercial, sales, and senior leadership teams
  • Proficient in contract management tools and Salesforce (or similar CRMs)
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, consistency, and organisation

Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience in the software or martech industry
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)
  • Exposure to RFIs/RFPs and commercial due diligence
  • Experience using a contract playbook and negotiating standard terms
  • Previous in-house experience is a plus

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a globally distributed, high-performing legal function
  • Work with passionate teams in a scalable SaaS environment
  • Gain broad commercial exposure across markets and regions
  • Help shape and evolve legal processes in a company that values clarity, collaboration, and inclusion
