Overview

A Senior Account Strategist is passionate and dedicated to customer satisfaction, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The Senior Account Strategist will be responsible for providing superior customer support for our Merchant partners, managing a portfolio of relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role will be responsible for developing and executing affiliate marketing strategies for the brands within their portfolio, as well as ensuring their long-term success with Partnerize, in conjunction with our Customer Success team.

They should excel at relationship building, analyzing marketing campaigns and be self-motivated. The successful candidate will be an aggressive self-starter and must possess a really strong work ethic, intelligence, sense of urgency, positive attitude, tenacity, and have a desire to put the customer first every day.

The candidate must have the ability to execute special assignments and tasks under only general supervision. They must have a personal sense of integrity, commitment and professionalism. This position provides high growth potential for candidates looking to build a career in a growing industry.

What you will do:

Manage a portfolio of established and emerging brands, partnering with these brands on objectives and KPIs for success

Consult on affiliate program strategy and actionable tactics

Lead weekly customer calls; and proactively communicate reporting, new opportunities, and progress against objectives

Prepare and conduct online and in-person customer presentations with excellence

Forecast budgets for customers and Partnerize

Deliver weekly reporting inclusive of performance insights and analysis

Establish program goals and objectives on a recurring cadence

Provide program level forecasts and manage program spend.

Work cohesively with the Partner Manager on recruitment and optimizations to help achieve client goals and objectives.

Coordinate and lead weekly client calls.

Provide weekly program updates inclusive of performance insight, placement and partner recommendations, and budget analysis.

Reports on the overall health of the partnership on a weekly basis.

Guide and assist in training new hires on best practices and internal workflows.

What you will achieve:

1 – 6 months

Take lead on and establish relationships with your portfolio of clients, making an immediate impact.

Conduct audits of strategies of existing clients within their own portfolio, suggesting and implementing areas of improvement and growth opportunities.

Become well versed with the Partnerize platform, understanding the main features of the product and being able to utilise the platform to complete tasks on behalf of your clients.

Build strong relationships with brands, publishers, and internal team members

6+ months

Manage budgets and risk mitigation, as well as assist with contract renewals where required.

Grow ecommerce revenue for established and emerging brands.

Contribute to tactics and processes designed to enable customer success.

Grow the Partnerize reputation for quality work and support of customers.

Act as a mentor for more junior members of the team, sharing knowledge and offering guidance where required.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business or Marketing), or 7 years of equivalent online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing experience.

Extensive Affiliate and Client management experience.

Strong analytical focus with the ability to aggregate and manipulate large data set

Fantastic interpersonal communication skills and experience interfacing with all levels of an organisation.

Ability to develop strategic plans and tactically deploy marketing strategies.

Strong ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a high-demand environment while demonstrating professionalism and good judgement .

Impeccable attention to detail and organisational skills.

A passion for teamwork and positively contributing to the success and reputation of Partnerize.

Confidence when presenting to clients and senior audiences.

A bias for action and sound instincts on how to resolve issues effectively. You’re inquisitive and like doing research in order to solve problems and identify solutions.

Motivation to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Dedicated focus to customer satisfaction.

Experience using Windows, MS Word. Advanced user of MS Excel, PowerPoint and G Suite products.

Guide and assist in training new hires on best practices and internal workflows.

Assist the team with client renewals renewals and expansions with the current customer base.

Collaborate with team members in developing and sourcing customer opportunities.
