ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a motivated hospitality enthusiast to join our Operations Team in Venice as a Junior Operations Manager. Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will work behind the scenes to ensure that guests experience the best service possible. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of rooms across our properties.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct regular room inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper stocking, taking immediate action to address any deficiencies.
● Collaborate with the Guest Experience team to track and resolve guest complaints.
● Supervise housekeeping staff to uphold high cleanliness standards.
● Monitor inventory levels and coordinate delivery schedules with external suppliers.
● Maintain financial control over expenses and budgets.
● Stay in close communication with building maintenance staff to coordinate the resolution of any technical issues.
● Oversee all activities on the property, troubleshooting any arising issues while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
● Seize the unique opportunity to assist with the pre-opening and post-opening phases of new hospitality units as needed.
● Ensure compliance with regulations for assigned properties.
ABOUT YOU:
● Italian and English fluency (B1+ required).
● Previous experience in the hospitality industry (preferably from a front office or operations-related background).
● Structured approach and high ownership.
● Eye for detail and ability to take responsibility.
● Engaging personality and team spirit.
● Hands-on mentality.
● Ability to multitask and keep an overview in a fast-paced work environment.
