ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to support our payroll operations across multiple European countries. This role is ideal for someone early in their payroll or HR operations career who is detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and eager to learn and grow in an international environment.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers to ensure accurate payroll processing, data management, and compliance across countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, and other European markets. Depending on your experience, you will either support the main payrolls in these countries or take ownership of smaller payroll entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day payroll administration across multiple European countries
- Assist with multi-country payroll processes and documentation
- Prepare, review, and maintain payroll data (salary changes, bonuses, absences, contracts)
- Maintain accurate employee records and payroll documentation
- Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal teams (HR, Finance)
- Perform payroll checks and support monthly payroll closing activities
- Support reporting, reconciliations, and audits using Excel
- Assist employees with payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner
ABOUT YOU
- 1–2 years of experience in payroll or HR administration
- Hands-on exposure to German payroll (Huge Plus)
- Familiarity with payroll processes in Spain, Portugal, and/or Italy is a strong plus
- Strong Excel skills (data handling, formulas, basic analysis)
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working with confidential data
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership over time
