To support our continued growth, we are hiring an experienced Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our in-house legal team and lead high-impact hospitality and real estate deals across Europe.
About The Role
You will drive real estate and hospitality transactions that shape Numa’s expansion across Europe. Working closely with senior stakeholders and external counsel, you will ensure deals are executed efficiently, aligned with Numa’s strategic goals, and supported by a scalable legal framework.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute real estate deals across Europe and coordinate and oversee external legal counsel
- Draft, review, and negotiate hotel lease, management and development agreements as well as other commercial agreements
- Provide commercially focused legal advice to support real estate and corporate deal execution
- Oversee litigation and debt collection cases
- Advise on corporate and compliance matters
- You will report directly to the General Counsel and collaborate closely with internal teams, including Real Estate, Finance, Development and Operations
- Drive adoption of legal tech and AI-powered tools to improve execution and shape Numa’s legal function for the future
About You
- Fully qualified lawyer within your jurisdiction (i.e. First and Second German State Exam or comparable qualification) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, including a minimum of 3 years in real estate transactions at a major (inter)national law firm
- Proven expertise in commercial lease agreements; experience in the hospitality sector is highly desirable
- Additional knowledge in Corporate, M&A, Regulatory, or other relevant areas is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-border transactions and coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent command of English (required), with proficiency in one or more additional European languages (such as German, Spanish, or Italian)
- Entrepreneurial, commercially minded, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Berlin or other key locations
