ABOUT YOU
- Conduct Deep-Dive Analysis: You will perform advanced analysis on guest feedback and operational data, using your statistical knowledge to uncover root causes, identify significant trends (forecasting), and build compelling business cases for what to improve next.
- Build & Deploy: You will work with the team to translate your data-driven insights into tangible solutions by designing, building, and deploying robust workflows using Python.
- Provide Data Partnership: Act as a key data partner for the Guest Experience & Operations teams, supporting them with ad-hoc data extractions, analysis, and generating insights to answer critical business questions as they arise.
Measure and Iterate: You will manage the full lifecycle of your projects, from initial analysis to deploying an automation and, finally, to measuring its impact on our key metrics and ROI. - Stakeholders Enablement: Enable your team and direct stakeholders to independently leverage data for business insights via self-serving and dashboarding tools (Looker)
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Analytical Experience: 2-4 years in a data analytics or similar role.
- Technical Proficiency in Analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with a modern BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to build strategic and user-friendly dashboards.
- A solid understanding of foundational statistical principles and how to apply them to real-world business problems.
- Business Acumen: You are passionate about understanding the "why" behind the data and can clearly communicate your findings and their strategic implications to both technical and non-technical audiences
- An Automation Mindset (and a Willingness to Learn)
- You are naturally drawn to efficiency and are excited by the idea of process improvement. While deep programming experience isn't required, a strong desire to learn and hands-on experience with Python or low-code tools (like n8n, Zapier, etc.) is a significant plus.
- Technical Foundations: Experience working with data warehouses like
BigQuery or Postgres is a plus. - Mindset: A true problem-solver with a data-first mentality. You are driven by the continuous cycle of analysis, implementation, and measurement to achieve a tangible business outcome.
