About the Role
As a Supplier Operations & Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving supplier growth, operational efficiency, and process excellence from our new Bangkok office. You will manage and grow supplier relationships, ensure seamless operational execution, and uphold quality and compliance standards across the gemstone category.
This role is both strategic and operational, combining supplier development, data-driven performance management, and hands-on leadership of the new Bangkok operations team

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Development & Business Growth

  • Identify, onboard, and manage high-quality gemstone suppliers aligned with Nivoda’s standards.

  • Build strong, consultative relationships with suppliers, acting as their primary contact to drive engagement and revenue growth.

  • Guide suppliers in optimizing their product listings, pricing, quality, and availability to meet platform demand.

  • Support suppliers through proactive communication, media checks, quality verification, and inventory alignment.

  • Use data insights to assess supplier performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement category-level strategies to improve sales and fulfillment rates.

  • Drive suppliers toward meeting revenue targets through assortment optimization, inventory health, and performance improvements.

Operational Management

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Bangkok office including setup and managing logistics and customs, ensuring adherence to SOPs and security protocols.

  • Maintain operational excellence — manage end-to-end supplier transactions, fulfillment coordination, and reporting.

  • Ensure all administrative, financial, and compliance-related activities are executed efficiently.

  • Standardize and streamline workflows, improving efficiency and reducing errors.

  • Monitor operational KPIs and ensure timely reporting and escalation where needed.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the Bangkok operations team to achieve organizational goals.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, skill development sessions, and cross-training.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Recruit and train new team members, ensuring strong alignment with company values and processes.

Quality, Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the global category, product, and tech teams to align on strategic objectives.

  • Maintain high-quality standards across supplier media, pricing, and gemstone authenticity.

  • Minimize return rates and customer complaints through proactive quality assurance.

  • Contribute to process and system enhancements that improve supplier experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7+ years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or operations management role.

  • Proven success in supplier management, operations, or B2B e-commerce.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative, data-driven mindset.

  • High attention to detail, integrity, and a transparent approach to working with gemstones.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, reporting tools, and general business software.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • Hands-on, proactive approach with a “can-do” attitude — takes ownership and drives results.
