As a Corporate Development & Strategy Associate at Lightricks, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's growth strategy. As part of the Corporate Strategy team, you will work closely with the VP of Strategic Finance and CFO and other cross-functional teams to identify strategic opportunities, conduct market research, perform competitive analysis to inform our go-to-market and corporate development initiatives, support the development and execution of high-level business strategies, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and long-term corporate goals.
What you will be doing
- Business Strategy: Support the creation and refinement of high-level business strategies, ensuring alignment with market dynamics, industry shifts, and competitive landscapes.
- Go-to-Market research: Design and execute comprehensive GTM research for new products and services, particularly focusing on generative AI, influencer marketing, and photo-video editing solutions. Ensure these strategies are adaptable across multiple industries and customer segments.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in the creative AI industry. Analyze data to provide insights that support decision-making.
- Industry Insights & Competitive Analysis: Regularly assess competitive landscapes, providing actionable insights on emerging trends and threats. Drive reports focused on identifying key areas for expansion, partnerships, and new market penetration
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with sales, tech, marketing and product teams to ensure strategies are executable, scalable, and drive long-term business success. Facilitate communication and alignment between internal and external stakeholders to meet strategic goals.
- Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to assess the financial impact of potential corporate development opportunities, including revenue projections, cost analysis, and ROI assessments.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Assist in identifying potential M&A targets, conduct due diligence, and evaluate the strategic fit of potential acquisitions. Prepare reports and presentations to support M&A decision-making.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate development, strategy, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and research skills, combined with strategic business thinking and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies and growth opportunities
- Experience in M&A process (preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to C-level executives.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proven ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.
- Fluent in English – must feel comfortable working in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
