We seek a Developer Relations Manager to spearhead our efforts to strengthen our tech brand positioning and cultivate our developer community relationships. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping our presence within the local and global tech ecosystem.

As our Developer Relations Manager, you will craft and execute a comprehensive strategy to elevate our tech brand and build our internal and external tech communities. Collaborating closely with our C-suite executives, tech leads, managers, and cross-functional teams including Marketing and HR, you will amplify our presence in the tech community, fortify our brand positioning, and effectively communicate our products, technological capabilities, challenges, and company culture.

What you will be doing

  1. Develop deep insights into developers' aspirations, pain points, and trends to identify opportunities for enhancing Lightricks' visibility among top talent.
  2. Orchestrate high-impact events, including large-scale hackathons, spotlight showcases, technical meetups, and conferences, positioning Lightricks at the forefront of the developer community.
  3. Curate and manage a compelling tech blog, featuring thought leadership content and technical insights from Lightricks' experts.
  4. Collaborate with HR, brand, and content teams to develop and implement strategies that elevate Lightricks' employer brand within the tech community.
  5. Support employer branding efforts and local PR initiatives
  6. Coach and prepare Lightricks' technical leaders and top talent for speaking engagements at industry events, podcasts, and conferences, enhancing both their personal brands and Lightricks' reputation.
  7. Forge strategic partnerships with other tech companies, educational institutions, and industry influencers to expand Lightricks' reach and influence.
  8. Design and implement a robust metrics framework to measure the impact of developer relations initiatives, focusing on community growth, engagement, and brand sentiment.
  9. Lead the creation of technical content, including whitepapers, blogs, and documentation, that showcases Lightricks' technological prowess and attracts top-tier talent.

Your skills and experience

  1. Proven track record (3+ years) in building and scaling developer relations or community teams within the tech industry.
  2. Demonstrated ability to engage engineers and developers across various specializations (Backend, Web, Mobile, AI/ML, etc.).
  3. Exceptional project management skills, including experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  4. Strong experience working with C-level executives
  5. Proven success in organizing and executing large-scale tech events, from conception to post-event analysis.
  6. Data-driven decision-making mindset, with experience in analytics and reporting for community growth and engagement.
  7. Strategic thinking capabilities, balancing short-term wins with long-term vision and goals.
  8. Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to represent Lightricks at high-profile industry events.
  9. Deep understanding of current trends in software development, open-source communities, and developer tools.
  10. Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
