Lightricks’ Corporate Development team is responsible for planning and executing strategies to meet Lightricks growth objectives. As a high-growth company, we are seeking a talented and driven Corporate Development Associate to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Corporate Development Associate at Lightricks, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's growth strategy. You will work closely with the Director of Strategic Finance and CFO and other cross-functional teams to identify strategic opportunities, conduct market research, perform competitive analysis to inform our corporate development initiatives, and support the entire life-cycle of an M&A process, starting from strategic rationale development, deal flow management, opportunity sourcing, financial modeling and valuation, due diligence, and integration.

What you will be doing

  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in the creative AI industry. Analyze data to provide insights that support decision-making.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitors' activities, product offerings, and market positioning. Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving our competitive advantage.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Assist in identifying potential M&A targets, conduct due diligence, and evaluate the strategic fit of potential acquisitions. Prepare reports and presentations to support M&A decision-making.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate partnership opportunities. Assist in negotiations and execution of partnership agreements.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to assess the financial impact of potential corporate development opportunities, including revenue projections, cost analysis, and ROI assessments.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to corporate development, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience in financial statement analysis and company valuation techniques
  • Experience in M&A process (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.
  • Fluent in English – must feel comfortable working in English (reading, writing and speaking)
