Job Description: As an Engineering Manager (DevOps), you will be responsible for a number of teams delivering the system and business-critical features end to end that add customer value.

Providing the leadership and people management, driving process, technical and architectural best practices to deliver high quality, secure, performant services, will be part of your day to day job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a development team that is responsible for all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the application systems in an environment of diverse and complex development platforms.
  • Own technical change management, source code and technical documentation, utilizing best practices.
  • Document and test using proven industry standard code analyzing tools, implementing and providing ongoing support for the applications
  • Master existing systems/application/product architecture and identify opportunities for short and long term improvement.
  • Coordinate all stages of product development, from initial concept art, to finalization and distribution.
  • Work with Product Managers and Head of Products to review product decisions and drive ideation to delivery.
  • Provide architecture guidance with strong focus on solution architecture, architecture artifacts, performance, scaling and security to produce scale-able, flexible, robust and efficient applications
  • Lead the technical design solution, conversation, choose the right frameworks for the business solution, and apply design patterns consistently.
  • Lead and oversee developers through the product design, planning, development, implementation, and product/system test.
  • Conduct team meetings with product team and other key project team members to go over schedules and operational milestones.
  • Create and manage project plans for large foundation projects.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Be an expert with Agile methodologies and deliver these processes throughout the organization.
  • Run all scrum ceremonies for the team, including Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Grooming.
  • Implement and maintain robust DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and IaC.
  • Manage Kubernetes environments for container orchestration and its network.
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps culture and practices across development teams.
  • Champion automation to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure DevOps practices adhere to security protocols and compliance standards.
  • Mentor team members in DevOps best practices.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Excellent hands-on experience in .Net, C#, SQL DB & NO SQL
  • Experience working as an engineering leader where you have been both responsible and accountable for 2+ teams of 4+ engineers each, and their deliveries.
  • Additionally you must experience within engineering with a focus on delivering for security, scalability, availability, and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple teams to ensure that we meet the highest security standards, manage debt and legacy code with business, technical risk mitigation. You possess effective and proactive communication skills, and can collaborate with different profiles and roles, from junior to senior, tech to
  • You are used to working in Agile teams and look for and implement continuous improvement, but you also appreciate good process and quality assurance in mitigating risk and improving
  • Exposure to MS Azure, distributed computing, microservices architecture.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand the business problems, structure the solution and communicate effectively with stakeholders to implement and execute the solution.
  • Good experience in any ORM including entity framework
  • Understanding of latest web UI technologies (JQuery, react , responsive frameworks, etc.)
  • Familiarity with n-tier environment
  • Experience of any MVC/MVVM based frameworks.
  • Versed in Agile methodology. Experience in high-volume web application environment
  • Knowledge of full SDLC.
  • Excellent grasp of data structures and interaction between applications and data
  • Knowledge of design patterns and practical implementation knowledge.
  • Extensive experience in DevOps methodologies and tools, particularly in Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
