Marketing Intern Karma

We've just launched our most ambitious product yet, we're growing fast, and the marketing function is being built right now. You won't just be joining a team - you'll be helping shape it.

Karma isn't just building software – we're building the platform that restaurants actually want to use. With the launch of Karma OS 26, we've created the most comprehensive AI-first restaurant operating system in the Nordics, replacing the messy patchwork of tools that restaurants have been stuck with for years.

Now we need to tell that story. Loudly, beautifully, and everywhere.

That's where you come in.

Your role

As a Marketing Intern at Karma, you'll work side by side with our CMO Fredrik and the rest of the team to shape how restaurants discover, understand, and fall in love with Karma. This isn't a "fetch coffee and update a spreadsheet" internship – you'll be creating real work that ships to real audiences from week one. You'll be responsible for:

Creative & Storytelling

  • Craft compelling narratives that bring Karma's brand to life – from customer success stories to product launches

  • Write copy for campaigns, social media, emails, and sales enablement materials

  • Help develop Karma's voice and tone as we scale across the Nordics

Static & Motion Ads

  • Design static ad creatives for paid social, display, and other digital channels

  • Create motion graphics and short-form video content for ads, social media, and product demos

  • Leverage AI tools for both image and video production – we move fast and expect you to use every tool at your disposal to punch above your weight

  • Experiment with formats, hooks, and visual styles to find what resonates with restaurant owners and decision-makers

Brand & Campaign Support

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns end-to-end

  • Contribute ideas for how we position Karma as the restaurant's best friend – not just another tech vendor

  • Keep an eye on trends in restaurant tech, food culture, and B2B marketing to keep our creative fresh and relevant

You have a natural eye for design and storytelling. Whether it's a punchy headline, a scroll-stopping ad, or a 15-second video - you know how to make things look and feel great.

Doer
You don't wait for permission. You see what needs to happen and you make it happen. Finished is better than perfect, and you can always iterate.

Curious & Hungry to Learn
You're obsessed with understanding what makes people tick and why some campaigns work while others flop. You dig in, learn, and apply.

Team Player
You thrive in a tight-knit team where everyone pitches in. No task is beneath you, and no idea is too wild to pitch.

Your experience

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in marketing, communications, design, media production, or a related field

  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)

  • AI-native: you're already using tools like Midjourney, DALL-E, Runway, Sora, or similar to create and iterate faster - and you're excited about what's next

  • Bonus: experience with motion graphics or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)

  • Strong written communication skills in Swedish and English

  • A portfolio, Instagram, or any collection of creative work you're proud of - polished or scrappy, we want to see how you think

  • Interest in the restaurant industry, food culture, or B2B tech is a plus but not required
