Job description
At Jow, we’re building the future of grocery shopping, and we believe design plays a key role in making it joyful, simple and human. We’re looking for a Junior Product Designer to join our small but mighty design team.
You’ll work closely with our Design Lead (Cécile) and cross-functional teams to imagine, prototype, and ship delightful experiences to help people cook and shop better, every day.
We’re not just looking for someone who can move pixels. We want someone who’s curious about users, enthusiastic about learning, and excited to grow in a team that cares deeply about the craft of design.
This is a unique opportunity to learn fast, contribute to meaningful features, and grow as a designer in a product-centric team.
Preferred experience
We’re looking for someone who might not tick every single box, but who’s motivated to learn and grow. Our ideal candidate has:
A first hands-on experience in product design
A solid foundation in UX/UI principles and a real appetite for building intuitive user experiences
Proficiency in Figma (our main tool) and an interest in design systems
A collaborative mindset : someone who communicates clearly, is open to feedback and enjoys working in a team
A sense of ownership, curiosity, and initiative
Bilingual French/English, or at least comfortable in English for a multicultural team

Recruitment process
Screening call with Cécile (Design Lead) - to get to know each other
Design interview - A deeper conversation about your experience and process
Design challenge - a short take-home exercise to see how you think
Design challenge review & final interview - you’ll present your work to a small group (designer, PM, developer) so we can dive into your thinking and discuss how you approach product and collaboration.
Coffee fit - informal conversation with other Jow team members
