You will be part of the team to build ICI Academy for the benefit of our partners, customers, employees, and enthusiasts. ICI Academy is in the process of creating a new digital learning curriculum for functional, technical, and sales enablement training. This training will be self-study and delivered in micro modules gamified fashion to address segment-specific training needs.
As a Lead eLearning Developer with 8-12 years of experience in the eLearning industry, you will be at the heart of our course creation process. Your primary role is to bring life to the content and designs conceptualized by our instructional designers and graphic designers, translating them into interactive and functional eLearning courses. Your expertise ensures our courses not only look good but also work seamlessly across various platforms, guaranteeing an immersive learning experience for our users

Responsibilities:

  • Develop eLearning courses efficiently, adhering to design blueprints.
  • Refine SME recordings, eliminating redundancies and enhancing audio quality, to ensure a polished initial course output.
  • Produce high-quality audio using AI voice over generation tools, ensuring accurate pronunciation and appropriate intonation.
  • Create intricate courses with a blend of custom PowerPoint presentations, demo-based video training, and explainer videos that captivate the learner.
  • Advance to sophisticated course design, leveraging tools like Storyline and Captivate to incorporate high levels of interactivity and simulations that mirror real-world scenarios.
  • Continuously update technical knowledge to address and resolve newer challenges that might emerge due to software or platform updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues arising during the development phase.
  • Ensure each course is rigorously tested for seamless functionality across a myriad of devices, from desktops to mobiles, and various browsers.
  • Regularly update courses to match the changing standards of device and browser compatibilities, ensuring longevity and consistency in the learning experience.
  • Collaborate proactively with designers, instructional experts, and other team members to enhance course quality and functionality.
  • Engage in periodic reviews with the team, absorbing feedback, and implementing enhancements to ensure the continuous improvement of course quality and functionality.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate mastery over eLearning software, including Storyline, Captivate, and Camtasia. An ideal candidate should have experience creating a range of eLearning content, from simple video edits to complex interactive simulations.
  • With 8-12 years of extensive experience in eLearning Development, Graphic Design, and animation-based explainer videos, your expertise should reflect a nuanced understanding of visual communication, ensuring engaging and informative course modules.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a knack for resolving technical and design challenges. Your ability to troubleshoot issues, be they software-specific or instructional in nature, will be key to the role.
  • A bachelor’s degree in design, multimedia, or a related field is preferred. Hands-on experience and a robust portfolio may compensate for formal educational qualifications.
  • A forward-thinking mindset, openness to feedback, and a commitment to continuous refinement of work processes and end products.
