About the role:
We are looking for a Global Benefits Manager to join our Total Rewards team! The ideal candidate will help support the organization’s strategic objectives in building a culture of wellness. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages our health and welfare plans, retirement, leave of absence administration, worker’s compensation, and all benefits programs and workplace policies to support flexibility, health, and wellness for employees.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for overall administration of the health and welfare benefits plans and wellness programs
  • Support annual benefits renewal in each country in collaboration with the Head of Total Rewards, Brokers and local HR Business Partners
  • Understand plan performance and trends, and provide actionable recommendations and creative solutions for all benefits programs
  • Develop communications strategy and lead collaboration with Human Resources, Legal and Corporate Communications. Create and deliver compelling employee communications enabling employees to understand the value of the organization’s benefits programs
  • Serves as primary contact for benefits brokers and providers ensuring accountability, plan effectiveness and expectations are achieved
  • Primary contact for employee-related benefits issues
  • Partner with external leave of absence administrator including management of FMLA cases
  • Manage the annual contract renewal process for Health, Wellness and Life Insurance including establishing employee premiums and management of the open enrollment process
  • Provide support for all aspects of 401(k) plan administration
  • Strong understanding of current legislation and changes affecting benefits; ensure benefits plans remain compliant with federal, state and local regulations; manage ACA reporting, Medicare D annual notices and FSA non-discrimination testing; gather and review data for Schedule A information for the preparation of Form 5500s
  • Provide support in the design and implementation of a Wellness Program that encourages and improves the overall well-being of the organization’s workforce
  • Manage the monthly bill reconciliation process for accurate and timely bill payments

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 7 years benefits design and administration experience (minimum of 3 years of global employee benefits experience required)
  • CEBS certification strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of legislation and taxation impacting benefits and compensation, including but not limited to the FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Rehabilitation Act, Health Care Reform, FMLA, HIPAA, and other pertinent regulations
  • Team player with good negotiating and consulting skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude used to prepare/analyze benefits costs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve employee benefits issues
  • Evidence of managing a variety of complicated tasks
  • Ability to exhibit a wide degree of creativity and innovation
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills) and excellent research skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and multitask
  • Detail oriented with exceptional attention to accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline (preferred)
