Who Are Heidi?

Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that supports clinicians every step of the way, from documentation to delivery of care.

We exist to double healthcare’s capacity while keeping care deeply human. In just 18 months, Heidi has returned more than 18 million hours to clinicians and supported over 73 million patient visits. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi across 116 countries and 110+ languages.

Founded by clinicians, Heidi brings together clinicians, engineers, designers, scientists, creatives, and mathematicians, all working towards a shared purpose: strengthening the human connection at the heart of healthcare.

Backed by nearly $100 million in total funding, Heidi is expanding across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with major health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, MaineGeneral, and Monash Health.

We move quickly where it matters and stay grounded in what’s proven-shaping healthcare’s next era. Ready for the challenge?

The Internship Program

Our Data & Strategy Internship is a 3 month program for highly analytical, ambitious students who want to learn how a fast-growing AI company is actually run.

This is not a research or reporting internship. You will work directly with the Strategy Lead and leadership team on the data, models, and analysis that inform fundraising, growth, and major company decisions.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to how metrics like revenue, retention, usage, and unit economics are used to evaluate performance, tell the company’s story to investors, and guide where the business invests next.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with the Strategy Lead and leadership team on fundraising and investor work, including building metrics, preparing updates, and supporting diligence

  • Pull, clean, and analyse product, customer, and revenue data to understand what’s driving growth, retention, and expansion

  • Build models, cohort analyses, and dashboards that track key business and product performance

  • Support internal strategy projects across pricing, growth, go-to-market, and operations

  • Help develop clear narratives and storylines for how the business is performing and where it’s going

  • Use data to validate or challenge strategic ideas and leadership decisions

  • Support M&A and partnership analysis, including financial and usage-based evaluation

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is strong in both thinking and numbers.

  • Studying or recently graduated in maths, engineering, finance, economics, computer science, or a related quantitative field

  • Confident working with data, models, and spreadsheets

  • Able to break messy, complex problems into simple, structured approaches

  • Clear communicator who can turn analysis into insight and recommendations

  • Comfortable working in Excel; SQL experience is a plus

  • Curious, driven, and excited by startups, AI, and healthcare
