Howdy, we're Heidi π
"The AI startup growing faster than Canva."
That's what the Financial Review called us. In one year, we hit $15M ARR and became one of the fastest-growing companies in the world.
Two years ago, we pivoted from broad healthcare AI to building Earth's finest clinical exoskeleton. Today we support over 2 million patient sessions weekly across 50+ countries. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians use Heidi to complete documentation.
Our mission is simple: double care capacity by eradicating non-clinically-useful busywork.
That's where you come in.
The Role
You'll be Heidi's first Technical Program Manager β owning the delivery of complex, cross-functional programs so product managers can focus on product and engineers can focus on building.
You'll report directly to the Head of Product and partner closely with engineering and design leadership to keep Heidi's most critical initiatives on track. You'll facilitate the operating rhythms that help us ship faster and more predictably as we scale β from quarterly planning through to delivery.
We're looking for someone technical enough to earn engineering's respect, organized enough that nothing falls through the cracks, and influential enough to drive outcomes without direct authority. You've seen what good looks like at a high-growth company β now you'll help us get there.
What you'll do
Drive complex, cross-functional programs from kickoff through delivery
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design leadership to ensure initiatives stay on track
Facilitate quarterly planning and prioritization across product teams
Surface risks and blockers early β ensure decisions get made and commitments are met
Help implement and refine Heidi's product operating system
Build the program management practices that scale with Heidi's growth
What you'll need
Technical background β ex-engineer, tech lead, or deeply technical TPM. You can read architecture diagrams, understand system dependencies, and hold your own with engineers.
5+ years in B2B SaaS, with meaningful time during scale-up or hypergrowth.
Track record driving complex programs β you've shipped initiatives spanning multiple teams and functions successfully.
Influence without authority β you drive outcomes through clarity, relationships, and follow-through.
Rigorous and organized β you track what matters and ensure nothing slips.
Direct communicator β you surface problems early and don't let politeness get in the way of progress.
Bonus:
Healthcare or healthtech experience
Experience building/scaling TPM practices
If we'd worked together the last 6 weeks, you'd have:
Driven the kickoff for our auth provider migration β a critical infrastructure project spanning backend, mobile, desktop, and web teams with enterprise customer dependencies.
Helped us clarify engagement models and ownership between regional and platform teams, as we shift to a federated model to scale the delivery of regional integrations.
Established cross-functional initiatives that let us move faster whilst maintaining our quality bar with enterprise customers globally.
Collaborated with commercial leads across regions to pressure-test our Q1 product priorities, translating sales urgency into a sequenced roadmap that engineering can actually deliver.
Facilitated the rollout of our new product development process, and supported product teams in defining their OKRs β making it smooth and genuinely useful.
Why Heidi?
Our health systems hurt everybody. Systems are log-jammed, clinicians' lives degrade in quality, and patients churn through the meat-grinder.
This is neither a special nor interesting insight.
But it means we're solving a real problem. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians use Heidi. Every clinician using Heidi gets hours back in their day. That's the starting point to build the product of your dreams: immense distribution, and a world of potential.
You'll join a team that doesn't celebrate fundraise milestones or glossy PR. We live and breathe the pain of modern health systems and won't rest until we've exacted the change we'd like to see.
The bad news: it's not an easy job β you'll tear your hair out more than once. Modern tech concepts don't transpose easily into healthcare. The lows are really low.
The good news: you'll trust and admire everyone you work with, and know you're doing the defining work of your career. The highs are blindingly high.
Heidi will take care of you: equity, growth, wellness perks, and the chance to progress fast if you're an A-player.
