Who are Heidi?

Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that supports clinicians every step of the way, from documentation to delivery of care.

We exist to double healthcare’s capacity while keeping care deeply human. In 18 months, Heidi has returned more than 18 million hours to clinicians and supported over 73 million patient visits. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi across 116 countries and over 110 languages.

Founded by clinicians, Heidi brings together clinicians, engineers, designers, scientists, creatives, and mathematicians, working with a shared purpose: to strengthen the human connection at the heart of healthcare.

Backed by nearly $100 million in total funding, Heidi is expanding across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with major health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, MaineGeneral, and Monash Health, among others.

We move quickly where it matters and stay grounded in what’s proven, shaping healthcare’s next era. Ready for the challenge?

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced IT Administrator who will build and manage our growing device infrastructure, establishing secure and efficient systems that scale with our global expansion.

You'll own our device lifecycle from procurement to retirement, ensuring seamless user experiences across locations, and serve as the primary technical resource for our team members. You’ll work closely with our Operations & Strategy Lead to shape our IT strategy, with the potential to grow into a leadership role as we built out our IT team

What you’ll do:

  • Orchestrate Device & App Management: Be the central hub for our device ecosystem. Administer MDM, coordinate device logistics across global locations, and create a seamless provisioning experience. Develop and manage application deployment strategies and app lifecycles, including creating scripts for remote installation, updates, and configuration.

  • Manage Access & Security: Champion our security posture by developing and implementing device management policies and managing device networking. Manage access controls for key platforms. Administer password manager and compliance tool, and build the foundation for secure account credentialing.

  • Automate & Streamline Onboarding: Design and implement automation for user onboarding processes, ensuring new team members get timely access to necessary hardware, software, and relevant Slack groups. (Aligns with potential future SSO/SCIM work ).

  • Create Exceptional Technical Support: Build and manage an internal IT helpdesk that resolves issues efficiently. Develop self-service resources, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure our team has uninterrupted access to the tools they need.

  • Implement and Maintain IT Asset Management: Design, deploy and oversee our IT asset management system to track hardware, software, and licenses. Ensure accurate inventory, compliance, and optimal resource allocation.

  • Scale Our Infrastructure: Design systems and processes that grow with us. Identify operational bottlenecks, implement automation where possible, and create documentation. Manage office IT infrastructure needs, potentially including video conferencing and network management.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and other functions to understand their technical needs and implement solutions.

What we will look for:

  • Experience working in a technical support or IT helpdesk role, with proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

  • Practical knowledge of device management systems (like JumpCloud), compliance monitoring tools (like Vanta), and managing access across various platforms (Microsoft, Cloud Providers, Google Admin).

  • Experience with automation for onboarding and IT processes.

  • Familiarity with device networking concepts and management.

  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage device logistics across multiple locations with meticulous tracking.

  • Strong communication abilities to translate complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Bonus: experience building an IT function from the ground up or leading IT projects end-to-end.

What do we believe in?

  • Heidi builds for the future of healthcare, not just the next quarter, and our goals are ambitious because the world’s health demands it. We believe in progress built through precision, pace, and ownership.

    • Live Forever - Every release moves care forward: measured, safe, and built to last. Data guides us, but patients define the truth that matters.

    • Practice Ownership - Decisions follow logic and proof, not hierarchy. Exceptional care demands exceptional standards in our work, our thinking, and our character.

    • Small Cuts Heal Faster - Stability earns trust, speed delivers impact. Progress is about learning fast without breaking what people depend on.

    • Make others better - Feedback is direct, kindness is constant, and excellence lifts everyone. Our success is measured by collective growth, not individual output.

Our mission is clear: expand the world’s capacity to care, and do it without losing the humanity that makes care worth delivering.

Why you will flourish with us 🚀?

  • In office full-time to collaborate with like-minded professionals

  • Healthcare, Dental, Vision benefit options

  • 401k with 3% match

  • Personal development budget of $500 per annum

  • Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team

  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win

Help us reimagine primary care and change the face of healthcare around the world.
