We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant (m/f/d) to join our dynamic finance team. As an Accountant at Headline, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that ensure the financial health and integrity of our organization.

Headline is a global acting fund with structures and teams in different countries. Our globally spread operations team collaborates closely with our local investment teams so that you will be working in a truly diverse and international environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping activities (in Oracles Netsuite) for 2 German AIFM and internal entities within the fund structure, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling accounts. You work closely with our external Tax consultant.
• Monitor and track expenses, including overhead costs, employee travel expenses, and other operating expenses.
• Performing regular bank and account reconciliations and preparing Bank wires
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting internal expenses for the management company, providing insights into cost management and optimization.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to expense allocations and financial reporting.
• Stay current on accounting standards and regulations related to expense allocations to ensure compliance with changing requirements.

• Relevant work experience of at least 2 years in a relevant industry
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree - Master’s degree is a plus
• Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
• Fluency in English; fluency in German
• Strong Excel skills, Netsuite experience is a plus
