The Role

You are the person who turns concepts into reality. Our engineers develop the design - you build a functional, robust system from it. Specifically, this involves constructing a 10 m long drilling rig with a laser drilling head. You are not only in an execution role, but actively contribute your practical experience to find solutions, improve designs, and tackle challenges directly. This is not about series production or routine work. You will work on a prototype that breaks new ground. Your experience, craftsmanship, and sense for practical solutions are crucial for the success of the project.

Your Responsibilities

• Assembly and commissioning of large-scale, experimental drilling systems
• Practical implementation of design plans into functional assemblies and systems
• Independent planning and execution of manufacturing and assembly processes
• Welding, machining, and adapting metal structures and components
• Selection and application of suitable manufacturing processes (e.g. turning, milling, welding, assembly)
• Identification and resolution of technical problems during assembly and operation
• Close collaboration with engineers and the development team
• Continuous improvement of system structure, stability, and functionality
  
  

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training, for example as:
• Agricultural Machinery Mechanic (master craftsman also welcome)
• Construction Equipment Mechanic (master craftsman also welcome)
• Industrial Mechanic
• Mechatronics Technician
• or a comparable qualification
• Outstanding hands-on skills and practical execution competence
• Experience with metalworking and welding processes
• Confident handling of conventional manufacturing techniques
• Ability to understand and practically implement technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach
• Independent working style combined with team capability
• Motivation to take responsibility in a dynamic startup environment
