About the role
We're seeking a dynamic Partnerships Manager to lead activation management and partnership nurturing across our growing portfolio of brand relationships. In this role, you'll own the operational details of our experiential events, manage mid-level and smaller partnerships, and support our larger strategic partnerships. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a knack for event planning, and can build meaningful relationships with partners.This role reports directly to our Director of Partnerships.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We are open to speaking with candidates from all locations, but candidates based in the NYC or LA areas are preferred. We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a bi-annual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
- Lead activation management for experiential events, including logistics, staffing, supplies, and on-site execution
- Manage day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of brand partners, serving as their primary point of contact
- Develop and execute activation plans based on partnership scope and strategic importance
- Oversee event staffing and operations for various partnership activations
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with our brand strategy
- Support sports marketing initiatives to maximize value from team partnerships
- Monitor cultural trends to ensure our partnerships remain relevant and impactful
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and operations teams to deliver seamless partner activations
- Track partnership performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership
- Manage partnership budgets and timelines for multiple concurrent activations
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of combined experience across event/experiential management, partnership management, and/or brand management
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in experiential management, with proven ability to flawlessly execute events and activations from concept to completion
- Has experience in sports marketing, ideally with direct team or league partnership management
- Brings field marketing expertise with a track record of successful consumer-facing activations
- Possesses strong partner relationship skills with experience serving as a brand representative
- Excels at cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
- Maintains a pulse on cultural trends and industry developments
- Is comfortable with occasional travel for event execution
