Join us at Gorilla and be part of a mission to transform the energy industry. At Gorilla, you'll play a vital role in delivering cutting-edge data solutions for a lower-carbon future. We focus on providing efficient, reliable, and flexible SaaS solutions for data processing and analysis in the energy sector. Together, we're driving digital transformation, maximising ROI for clients, and contributing to achieving net-zero emissions through technology and data-driven insights.
Your Role
As a Lead Product Marketing Manager at Gorilla, you’ll take the lead in shaping how we bring our products to market. This role expands the scope of product marketing at Gorilla, focusing on enterprise customers, international growth, and scalable go-to-market frameworks.
You’ll work in close partnership with our current Product Marketing Manager to align strategy and execution. Together, you’ll be the bridge between market insight, product development, and commercial success, ensuring customer needs and market opportunities directly guide Gorilla’s growth.
The mission is to lead market research, validate product–market fit, and build positioning and messaging frameworks that scale across enterprise and international markets. With significant autonomy, you’ll design go-to-market approaches that reach new audiences and sharpen Gorilla’s competitive positioning, while working directly with senior leadership to influence roadmap priorities and strategic direction.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be accountable for three core areas: market insight, go-to-market strategy, and enterprise customer influence.
1. Problem–Solution Fit & Strategic Validation
Lead Gorilla’s market research to assess opportunities, define ICPs, and map competitive landscapes.
Define enterprise buyer personas and validate value propositions through structured interviews and data-driven analysis.
Translate insights into actionable strategies that influence product direction and company positioning.
Provide senior leadership with clear recommendations on product–market alignment and growth opportunities.
2. Market Activation
Own Gorilla’s product positioning and messaging frameworks, ensuring they resonate with enterprise buyers across international markets.
Partner with Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership to design and execute scalable go-to-market strategies for launches and expansions.
Establish success metrics and track GTM performance to continuously refine positioning and strategy.
Shape narratives that differentiate Gorilla in the energy and data sector.
3. Customer & Market Influence
Build strategic relationships with enterprise customers and industry stakeholders.
Gather ongoing feedback to refine market strategies, personas, and buyer journeys.
Influence internal and external stakeholders through clear communication of customer and market insights.
Position Gorilla as a thought leader in enterprise energy and data solutions.
What You’ll Need
7–10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing.
Proven track record in defining product marketing strategy and frameworks.
Direct experience working with enterprise logos and in account-based marketing (ABM) contexts.
Experience launching products into new international markets.
Strong analytical skills, able to translate data and customer feedback into strategic decisions.
Hands-on experience with market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
A bias for structure, curiosity, and iteration. Comfortable with ambiguity and confident in shaping new ways of working.
A strategic mindset paired with operational excellence; able to set direction and execute effectively.
Background in energy or data solutions is a strong plus.
