Product marketing manager at Gorilla 🦍

We’re on the lookout for an accomplished product marketer to join our dynamic marketing to help lead go-to-market efforts for our products.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing product positioning, building go-to-market plans, researching and advocating for customers, helping shape the product roadmap, and owning the growth strategy for new customer-facing products and features. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-centric value propositions. You’re confident sharing these concepts in a variety of media (pitch decks, webinars, website, email, blogs, etc.)

What you'll do at Gorilla

  • Go-to-market strategies: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Sales to create and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
  • Value proposition and messaging: Craft impactful customer-centric messaging and positioning statements that resonate with our buyer personas. Ensure these are validated through customer insights and market research.
  • Collateral and sales enablement: Communicate the value of our products to various audiences by creating a variety of content (pitch decks, case studies, demo videos), as well as supporting commercial teams on how to position and effectively deliver our product messaging.
  • Competitive research: Stay on top of the market and competitive landscape, and aggregate findings to ensure the rest of the business has a good understanding of our key differentiation points.
  • Product adoption: Develop a content strategy to generate awareness and interest in our product, working with Growth, Content, and Design to execute your vision. Find and craft stories to tell in campaigns, on our website, and to our clients to help them understand the benefits of our product.
  • Customer insights: Uncover customer insights to steer and validate the product roadmap. Run experiments to test your hypothesis and bring analytical rigor to help inform the strategy.

What you need

  • A confident self-starter, with proven ownership of buyer persona development, messaging and positioning, and product content creation.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, allowing you to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in B2B SaaS is a must
