Join Gopuff as an Automation expert where you will be entrusted with the task of developing and refining advanced data tools essential for enhancing the efficiency of our Micro Fulfilment Centres (MFCs) and our delivery network.

Your expertise will be pivotal in both crafting innovative tools and models and refining existing ones, thereby driving operational efficiencies across our MFC and Delivery Operations. As a valued member of the Operations Design and Tooling team, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Operations Design and Tooling. However, your collaboration will extend across various teams within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sophisticated algorithms using AppScript and Python, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Apply a strong numerical acumen to analyse data, identify trends, and solve complex problems using various modelling techniques and numerical methods.
Independently initiate and manage projects, demonstrating a proactive and self-driven approach to work.
Communicate effectively across teams, ensuring a clear understanding of algorithmic processes and outcomes.
Continuously explore and integrate new modelling techniques and numerical methods to enhance operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored algorithmic solutions.

Requirements:

A strong educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of applying problem-solving skills to create effective solutions through coding.
Demonstrated experience in building working models to address and streamline complex processes.
A history of identifying and automating inefficiencies in various operational contexts.
Proficiency in SQL and Apps Script/JavaScript programming.
Additional expertise in Python is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of GCP is a plus.
A high level of confidence and competence in programming and automating tasks.
