Flowhub Pay Transparency Philosophy

At Flowhub, our approach to compensation is an extension of how we operate as a team: clearly, consistently, and with a high bar on both sides. Transparency around pay is part of how we treat people like the championship team we say we are. We publish compensation ranges in our job postings, base offers on objective inputs (role scope, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance), and review our pay structure regularly against market data and internal equity. Where we operate in jurisdictions with specific pay transparency requirements, we comply in full.

Beyond compliance, we see openness around compensation as a signal of trust, and a reflection of how seriously we take the work and the people doing it.

A note from Royce Luque, VP of Sales: This is the first time Flowhub has hired for this role. It's never existed here, which means whoever takes this seat gets to define what it looks like, what it builds, and how much it moves the business. I'm hiring for energy and ownership, not a resume that already reads "VP of Partnerships." I want someone who walks into a room of two hundred dispensary operators and leaves with thirty conversations and five real opportunities. Someone who treats this like the shot to build their name, not a place to coast on one. If that sounds like you, we should talk.

The Role

Flowhub is building one of the most important growth levers we have, and we need the right person to run it.

As our Head of Partnerships & Events, you'll be the face of Flowhub in the cannabis industry. You'll be out in the field, in the rooms that matter, building relationships that move the business forward. You'll own how we show up at industry events, how we build our network across operators and tech partners, and how partnerships translate into pipeline and revenue.

This is not a behind-the-scenes seat. It's high exposure, highly cross-functional, and directly tied to company growth. It's also a founding role at a profitable, decade-old company, which is a rare combination. The playbook is yours to write.

🚀 What You'll Own (Build, Run, Scale)

  • Flowhub's presence in the industry. Show up where the operators, brands, and partner ecosystem live. Represent the company at trade shows, summits, and partner gatherings. Build relationships that last beyond the booth.

  • Partnerships that drive revenue. Identify, develop, and close partnerships that translate into pipeline and closed-won ARR. Build co-selling motions with strategic partners and work side by side with Sales to convert. Architect referral and revenue-share programs that scale as Flowhub expands into adjacent verticals.

  • Events that move the business. Own the calendar and the budget. Every show runs against a goal: pipeline, meetings, or revenue. Design and execute the executive dinners, customer roundtables, partner activations, and founder-led moments at industry conferences that turn the room into real opportunity. Attendance numbers don't count. Outcomes do.

  • Integration strategy with Product and GTM. Work with Product and Engineering to prioritize the integrations that unlock real opportunity. Partner with Marketing and Sales to bring those integrations to market. Position partnerships and integrations as enterprise-deal accelerators.

  • The numbers this seat is measured against. Partner-sourced pipeline, partner-influenced ARR, integration launches, event-sourced pipeline, event-driven ARR, cost per opportunity. You set the targets, build the reporting, and hit the number.

💚 You'll Probably Love This Role If:

  • You're a natural in front of people. Walk into a partner dinner with thirty strangers and you'll leave with five working relationships. Confidence is your baseline, not a setting you toggle on for events.

  • You sell, but with substance. You can hold your own with a C-level operator on Monday and run the ground game on a partner activation Tuesday. You've never thought either job was beneath you.

  • You're allergic to delegation theater. You'll run point on the details and ship the work yourself. Title is not what you're chasing. The build is.

  • You're hungry to grow. Whether you're early-career and ready for a bigger swing or mid-career and looking for the role that puts your name on something, the pitch that fires you up is "this is your shot to build a function at a company that's already won the hardest version of regulated retail."

  • Travel energizes you. A packed calendar in Vegas, Denver, Chicago, and a dozen cities you've never been to reads like opportunity, not friction.

  • You're Miami-ready. This is an in-office seat. Coconut Grove HQ four to five days a week. The team is in the room together, the work moves faster that way, and the energy is part of the deal.

🚩 This Role Probably Isn't For You If:

  • You want to lead a function, not build one. Both are real skills. This seat needs the second. You'll be running point on the details yourself, not coordinating others to do it.

  • You want a built-out calendar and a finished playbook. Neither exists. The opportunity is the build.

  • You're allergic to cannabis. Our customers are dispensaries today. If that's a non-starter on a personal or moral level, this isn't the right home. If you can see cannabis for what it actually is, a hard, real, growing business solving a meaningful operator problem, you'll be in good company here.

  • You need heavy senior cover. This role is built for someone who runs without it. You'll set the agenda, make calls, and earn trust through what you ship. If you're used to taking every move up the chain first, the autonomy here will feel uncomfortable.

  • Remote is non-negotiable for you. Coconut Grove HQ. The team is here, the energy is here, and partnership work happens in person.

🎯 Ideal Background (Not a Checklist)

  • 3 to 7 years of experience owning outcomes through relationships. This could look like a sales seat (BDR, AE, or sales leader) at a SaaS, fintech, or platform company where you've been a top performer and want a bigger canvas. It could be an events or experiential marketing role where you've built programs tied to revenue, not just attendance numbers. It could be community or brand partnerships at a consumer or B2B company where you've turned a network into pipeline. Or business development where you've closed real partnerships, not just signed MOUs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication. You can write a sharp follow-up email at 11pm after a partner dinner and represent the company on a panel the next morning.

  • Comfort with Salesforce or a similar CRM for tracking pipeline, partner activity, and event ROI.

  • Cannabis, regulated industry, or vertical SaaS exposure is a plus, not a requirement.

  • A tenure pattern that suggests you finish what you start.

🔑 The Hiring Process: Meet the Team

We respect your time. Each conversation should give you a clearer picture of whether this is the right move for you.

  • Stage 1 (Recruiter Screen): A 30-minute conversation with Aaron Friedman, our talent acquisition partner, on your background, what you're looking for, and mutual fit.

  • Stage 2 (Initial Screen): A 30-minute call with Denisse Flack, People Team leader at Flowhub.

  • Stage 3 (Leadership Conversation): A 60-minute deep dive with Royce Luque, VP of Sales and the hiring manager for this seat, and Will Zinsmeister, Chief of Staff.

  • Stage 4 (CEO Final): A conversation with Kyle Sherman, CEO, on the company, the role, and the bigger picture.

Total time from first conversation to offer: roughly two weeks for a strong candidate.

🌟 What's In It For You

  • Compensation 💰: Up to $160K OTE in year one, with base and variable mix calibrated to experience, plus meaningful equity in a profitable, well-funded company.

  • Full Benefits 🛡️: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401(k).

  • Time Off 🌴: Unlimited PTO and paid holidays.

  • The Workspace 📍: Coconut Grove HQ four to five days a week. We work in person because the work is better that way.

  • The Real Win ⚡: The founding seat for partnerships and events at a profitable, decade-old company with a roadmap into adjacent age-gated verticals. You'll build something the company will lean on for the next ten years. There aren't many places where you get to write that playbook from scratch with this kind of ground underneath you.

⭐ Our Values

  • Mission-First. We're here to solve real problems for the operators we serve, not to chase what's trending.

  • Maximum Urgency. Speed compounds. We act now, not later.

  • Own It. No spectators. Everyone runs their part of the field.

  • Championship Team. High bar, full trust, no carry-on talent.

  • Efficient Execution. We scale process with technology, not headcount.

  • Dispensary Obsessed. The retailer is the boss. Their problem is our problem.

  • Positive Intent. We assume the best of each other and earn the right to disagree well.

🌿 About Flowhub

Flowhub has been solving the hardest version of regulated retail since 2015. Founder and CEO Kyle Sherman started the company in Denver after watching the CNN documentary on Charlotte Figi, getting off prescription medications himself, and moving to Colorado to help define what legal cannabis would actually look like. A decade in, Flowhub is the platform 1,000+ dispensaries trust to run their businesses. We processed over $4 billion in our customers' sales last year, and we hit profitability in 2023, a milestone almost no one else in this category has reached.

We've been backed since the start by serious capital and serious people. Our investors include Poseidon, Headline, Evolv Ventures (the Kraft Heinz-backed fund), e.ventures, PayPal, and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. Our board includes Blake Irving, who, as CEO, took GoDaddy from a few thousand customers to 20+ million. We're the only cannabis POS provider actively involved in federal legalization, founding members of the US Cannabis Roundtable, and we've testified before the Senate Banking Committee on ending cannabis debanking. Kyle has been named on the Forbes Cannabis 42.0 list, Entrepreneur's Top 100 Cannabis Leaders, and Business Insider's 30 AND UNDER.

This is an inflection point for the company. POS-native e-commerce launched in 2025. Marketing came with it. The brand evolution rolled out in 2026, positioning Flowhub as the regulated retail technology company it's always been, with a clear roadmap into adjacent verticals where age-gated, compliance-heavy operators need a platform they can run. The team that built this from a Seed Round in Denver into a profitable, national, multi-product company is still here, still pushing, and still hiring people who want to do work that matters at the scale where it counts.

We hire people, not resumes. If this role excites you and you think you'd be great at it, please apply.
