The Role & Your Impact
We are looking for a collaborative People Ops professional to join our lean, high-impact team. In this role, you will independently manage your own workflows and projects with a high degree of ownership. While you will be our resident expert for Spanish people admin and compliance, you will work as part of an agile squad that supports all of Finom’s European hubs.
Our collective mission is driving the transition from local, country-specific silos to a unified, global shared-services model. We work together to ensure that while our local compliance is flawless, our processes remain scalable and consistent across borders. You will be expected to jump in and support teammates across all regions whenever needed, ensuring reliable delivery and collective success.
What You’ll Work on Together
- Co-Creating Global Processes: Contribute to the team-wide shift from location-based tasks to global standards. You’ll apply your expertise to ensure our global templates remain compliant while suggesting improvements to established workflows.
- Spanish Operations Mastery: Take ownership of Spanish payroll preparation and lifecycle admin. You will act as the go-to for local regulations, knowing when to resolve issues independently and when to flag them for expert legal support.
- Agile Team Support: Act as a true generalist. We rotate focus areas periodically to keep things fresh; whether it’s covering for a teammate or helping with administrative tasks in another region, you are ready to pivot and support the team’s collective workload.
- Evolving our Tools: Work together with the team on our HiBob implementation and maintain shared knowledge in Notion. You will help ensure our data remains clean, accurate, and useful for the whole business.
- AI-Driven Innovation: Finom is an AI-first company. You’ll experiment with the team to find new ways to use AI to automate routine professional tasks, freeing us up for high-value people initiatives.
Who You Are
- Experienced Contributor: You have a solid professional background (typically 3+ years) with a strong track record in Spanish labor law and people admin (social security, payroll, CBA, Equality Plan).
- Shared Services Mindset: You think in "workflows" rather than just "locations" and show the ability to adapt your knowledge to new, complex situations.
- Team Collaborator: You build strong relationships within a team and are ready to provide constructive feedback and support to colleagues as we grow together.
- Systems Literate: You are comfortable using modern HRIS platforms (HiBob experience is a plus) and enjoy contributing to team-wide data health.
- AI Savvy: You already use AI tools to speed up your daily work and are excited to help the team discover and implement new automated solutions.
- Fluent Communicator: You are fluent in both Spanish and English, and can clearly communicate progress and explain complex Spanish regulations simply to your teammates.
