About the role:

The next step in evolving our shopper journey is hiring a Director, Performances Ads, Go-to-Market. This is an individual contributor position. The core of our business is the performance ads business and this role is pivotal in building and scaling this critical part of our business. Think of the role as the general manager of our performance ads business where you will be expected to both think strategically but also execute at a rapid pace to bring the strategy to life. From determining product market fit to building a 3-year roadmap with product, working with marketing on launch ideas, pricing and commercialization levers, client segmentation and training sales - you will be driving all of these critical areas!

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Bridges the gap between product and market: It ensures a product successfully navigates from development to customer adoption. Without a strong GTM strategy, a well-built product might miss its target audience or fail to communicate its value.
  • Drives revenue and growth: A successful GTM strategy maximizes adoption and sales, contributing directly to a company's financial success. It identifies the right channels, messaging, and tactics to reach and convert customers efficiently.
  • Minimizes risk: By carefully researching the market and planning the launch, the GTM role helps avoid costly mistakes like targeting the wrong audience or using ineffective marketing approaches.Creates market visibility and awareness: Through strategic marketing and communication, the GTM role raises awareness of the product and builds excitement among potential customers. This initial momentum is crucial for early success.
  • Improves product-market fit: By gathering data and feedback from the market, the GTM role can identify areas where the product can be improved or adapted to better meet customer needs. This feedback loop leads to better product iterations and higher customer satisfaction.
  • Aligns internal teams: The GTM role acts as a central hub, ensuring different departments like product, marketing, and sales are all working together towards a common goal. This collaboration enhances efficiency and prevents conflicting activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and align product go-to-market strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Excellent Execution Skills: Execution is crucial in a Product Go-to-Market role as it transforms strategic plans into tangible outcomes, ensuring effective product launches, market penetration, and successful alignment of cross-functional teams for sustained business impact.
  • Analytical Skills: Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze metrics and KPIs to measure the success of go-to-market strategies.
  • Sales Enablement: Experience in developing sales enablement tools, training materials, and playbooks to support the sales team in effectively communicating the value of the product.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop clear and compelling product messaging, as well as to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Results-driven: Results-oriented with a focus on achieving key performance indicators and driving measurable success in product launches.

Skills we believe you need for this position:

  • Current or previous in the ads industry or the Retail Media industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing market conditions.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with the enterprise CPG, Retail and/or Restaurant industries.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches.

Compensation:

  • At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is $180,000-$230,000 We also offer all employees equity in Fetch, so that everyone can benefit from Fetch’s growth.
