About the Role:
As the Analytics Manager of User Analytics & Insights within our New Markets (Expanded Core) vertical, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy through data. Reporting directly to the Director of User Analytics & Insights, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional leaders and help elevate analytical rigor across the organization.
This role combines advanced analytics, forecasting, and mentorship—guiding analysts and partners in translating complex data into actionable strategies that drive measurable business outcomes. You will help establish best practices, improve analytical processes, and ensure insights consistently inform strategic decision-making.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.
Role Responsibilities:
Forecasting, Predictive Modeling, & Strategic Insights
- Translate analytical findings into forward-looking recommendations that guide product, marketing, and operational strategy.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models that inform business planning, growth targets, and market strategy.
- Develop predictive models to uncover user segmentation, identify behavioral insights, and proactively recommend actions that drive growth and engagement.
- Identify key performance drivers and proactively surface opportunities or risks through predictive analysis and trend monitoring.
- Partner with leadership to incorporate forecasts and analytical insights into strategic planning processes.
- Guide the end-to-end experimentation process, collaborating with product and marketing teams on test design and execution.
Analytics Leadership & Mentorship
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to General Managers, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams, using insights to drive measurable business impact.
- Guide and mentor analysts across the organization by providing coaching, training, and feedback to strengthen analytical approaches and storytelling.
- Promote analytics best practices and frameworks that improve consistency, quality, and impact of analytical work.
- Lead analytics project prioritization and coordination to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decisions prioritize the customer experience.
Data Analysis & Storytelling
- Leverage SQL and visualization tools (e.g., Hex, Grafana) to manipulate data and deliver accurate, meaningful analysis.
- Build and maintain automated KPI dashboards and monitoring reports to track performance.
- Partner with business and engineering teams to design and deploy scalable analytical solutions.
- Improve data quality and maintain scalable, well-documented analytics processes for long-term reusability.
- Translate analytical findings into clear business narratives and recommended next steps that inspire action.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, insights, or strategy roles.
- Expertise in data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience building forecasting models and translating forecasts into strategic recommendations.
- Experience with data modeling.
- Proven ability to translate insights into action by driving strategies, initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to influence change and impact business direction.
- Experience guiding or mentoring analysts and promoting analytics best practices.
- Hands-on A/B testing and experimentation experience.
- Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling to identify trends, segment users, and guide strategy.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Comfort using Google Sheets for collaboration and analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with dbt data modeling
- Prior experience blending commercial strategy with data insights.
Compensation:
