Reporting to: Head of Production
Description:
6 month fixed term contract.
As a Junior Production Assistant at COPA90, you will provide essential support to senior members of the Production team.
You will work across a wide range of output, from audio visual production through to events, campaigns and activations. Your responsibilities will be varied and include such tasks as conducting research, filling in paperwork, making bookings and running errands.
The role requires you to be highly organised, pay meticulous attention to detail, remain calm under pressure and demonstrate a positive can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Senior Production team with administrative and organisational tasks.
- Ensuring maintenance of key production and finance processes.
- Developing and maintaining the production database of contacts.
- Production assisting on assigned projects.
Example Tasks:
- Booking travel and preparing itineraries as necessary.
- Booking locations, equipment and casting.
- Booking crew for specific productions.
- Preparing documents such as call sheets and risk assessments.
- Attending and supporting on shoots.
- Supporting with the preparation of Pre Production Meeting documents.
- Attending key production meetings and taking minutes where requested
- Storing and tracking production paperwork..
- Tracking purchases and thoroughly reconciling invoices and receipts.
- Researching crew, suppliers and locations to develop our databases.
- Maintaining and updating database spreadsheets.
- Supporting with the storage and maintenance of our in-house production equipment.
- Performing research tasks as required.
- Running errands as required.
- Storing and tracking production paperwork.
- Performing administrative work, organising and distributing paperwork.
Requirements:
- A basic understanding of the film production process.
- Punctuality and efficient time management.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Experience with Google Docs or MS Office.
- A strong work ethic with a readiness to travel and adapt to flexible hours.
- Proactivity, resourcefulness and a positive can-do attitude.
