The Role
We’re searching for a creative micro-influencer to step in as Cosmo the Space Corgi’s right-hand human — helping bring CodeSignal’s cosmic mascot to life on campus at UC Berkeley and online.
In this role, you won’t just follow Cosmo around on campus — you’ll direct the action, find the right moments, capture them on video, and post them to your own social media account to amplify reach. You’ll also engage with students, answer questions, and ensure all content is ready to be shared by handling permissions and waivers.
If you love creating content, growing your audience, and being part of something fun on campus, this is the gig for you.
What You'll Do
- Film and direct Cosmo’s on-campus adventures, making sure we capture the most engaging, on-brand moments
- Engage with students as Cosmo’s voice: answering questions about the mascot, CodeSignal, and the filming process
- Post-edit video clips for short-form platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.)
- Post content to your own social media to increase visibility and community engagement
- Collect and manage signed waivers for anyone appearing in filmed content
- Collaborate with CodeSignal on content ideas that resonate with the UC Berkeley community
- Represent CodeSignal in a positive, approachable, and fun way
You Might Be a Fit If You:
- A current UC Berkeley undergraduate or graduate student or someone who is based in the Bay Area and able to work on campus at UC Berkeley
- Comfortable being both behind the camera and in front of students
- Skilled with smartphone video recording and basic editing apps
- Social, creative, and organized — able to juggle filming, engaging, and managing logistics at the same time
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a few hours per week
The Salary
