About the role:

As a Sales Intern on the Cameo Talent Team, you’ll be tasked with onboarding new talent that drive significant demand to Cameo and achieve success on our platform. Our team works with US and global celebrities to enable them to connect with their fans and develop an additional revenue stream for themselves. Join our high-growth team at one of the fastest-growing marketplace companies in the US!

What you’ll be doing:

Talent Outreach and Onboarding:

In this role, you’ll be actively reaching out to potential new talent through emails, calls, and social media. Your mission is to uncover emerging, trending, and viral talent, as well as individuals with established fan bases who could be the next big Cameo star on our platform. We’re on the lookout for talented folks who are pumped to join Cameo and create unforgettable moments for their fans.

  • Make a significant impact towards talent acquisition efforts, helping talent you onboard get off to a flying start by setting them up for long-term platform success.
  • A standout performer in the role will find unique opportunities for talent to utilize the Cameo platform in alignment with their brand and goals.
  • Make a further impact on Talent acquisition by educating Talent on our Talent referral program, and finding scalable partners, who can bring large amounts of Talent to Cameo.

What you bring to the table:

  • Ability to work from our Downtown Chicago office five days a week
  • Proven passion or experience in the Talent and/or Entertainment industry and knowledge of Pop Culture, Influencers and Celebrities
  • You have experience and a basic understanding of day-to-day tools such as Google Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar, and CRMs.
  • Stay on top of social trends across Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok - you know who will be successful Cameo talent. You have an eye for identifying emerging talent and also can develop lead lists for new talent.
  • Exemplify all of our core values, most importantly, “Challenge Assumptions” and “Roll Out the Red Carpet”.
  • Ability to adapt to a culture of an ever-growing company that embraces and commits to change.
