About the role

Our ambition is to create a next generation efficient finance department through automation and process management. To help us in that journey we need an ambitious accountant that can develop and learn as CAKE expands our operations. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow with us and help set the best practices that can be applied globally.

Your main responsibility will be Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for the Taiwan operation. In addition to this you will work with other areas such as VAT, financial statements and daily accounting. Your work will include and is not limited to:

• AR/AP - coding, InterCo settlement/payment

• Month-end closing - reconciliation of balance sheet and analysis

• Expense claims handling and organize accounting documents

• Reconcile and complete bi-monthly VAT filing

• Produce cost tables and inventory movement reports

• Support external auditing needs, including PBC

You will be reporting to our Finance Manager and will be located at our office in Taichung.

Who are you?

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years experience in accounting and preferably in manufacturing field

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance

• Experience of accounting in an international environment

• Good cross function communication, people skills and a team player

• Experience in Microsoft Business Central/ERP knowledge is a plus

• Good working attitude and able to work under pressure
