We are a fast-growing low-code IoT SaaS/PaaS platform enabling businesses to build, deploy, and manage connected devices efficiently. Our customers range from startups to enterprises, leveraging our platform to accelerate IoT product development and manage connected solutions. We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our team and serve as a key bridge between our customers and internal teams.
Role Overview
As a Technical Account Manager, you will work closely with our customers, ensuring their success by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting issues, and advocating for their needs within our company. Your role will involve deep collaboration with engineering, product, and sales teams to drive adoption, resolve challenges, and optimize IoT deployments. Embedded systems expertise is highly desirable, as many of our customers integrate firmware and hardware with our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customer accounts, helping them maximize the value of our IoT platform.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, assisting customers with integrations, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Develop deep expertise in our low-code IoT SaaS/PaaS platform and how it interfaces with embedded systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Act as a customer advocate, communicating needs, feature requests, and feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Work alongside sales and customer success teams to onboard new clients, drive adoption, and identify expansion opportunities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions.
- Conduct customer training sessions, documentation updates, and technical workshops to improve user experience.
- Maintain strong relationships with engineering teams to relay customer insights and influence roadmap decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Have:
- 3+ years in a technical account management, solutions engineering, or customer success role in the IoT space.
- Experience with IoT platforms and embedded systems
- Strong understanding of cloud services and APIs (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve customer issues quickly.
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have:
- Hands-on experience with low-power embedded systems, wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, NB-IoT), or connectivity protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and industrial protocols like Modbus, CAN, BACnet.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms and rapid application development environments.
- Prior experience in pre-sales technical support or sales engineering.
