Job requirements
We are looking for a hands on Community Manager to lead and execute growth initiatives for Atlys in the UAE. This role is highly execution-driven, focused on offline activations, local partnerships, and product localisation.
You will also act as the primary point of contact for UAE escalations and key local partnerships, owning the end-to-end experience and ensuring exceptional service standards in the region.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in zero-to-one market execution, enjoys being on the ground, and can combine growth, operations, and customer experience.
The Job
1. Market Growth & Offline Activations
Plan and execute offline growth initiatives to increase visa applications (e.g., partnerships, kiosks, travel agents, corporate tie-ups, events, colleges, business hubs).
Identify and test local acquisition channels that work specifically in the UAE market.
Own execution end-to-end: ideation → on-ground setup → performance tracking.
2. Localisation & Market Fit
Localise the Atlys product experience for UAE users (language, pricing perception, messaging, document expectations, trust signals).
Work closely with product, ops, and design teams to adapt flows based on UAE user behaviour.
Continuously gather customer feedback from the ground and translate it into actionable insights.
3. Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
Build relationships with travel agencies, concierge services, relocation firms, universities, and corporate HR teams.
Identify co-marketing and distribution opportunities to drive visa volume.
Manage local vendors and partners involved in activations.
4. Escalations Ownership
Act as the go-to person for all UAE escalations, especially high-value and premium customers.
Own resolution for complex visa cases, service issues, or time-sensitive applications.
Maintain strong relationships with premium users and ensure white-glove service delivery.
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track key metrics: visa application volume, CAC by channel, and activation ROI.
Share regular insights with central teams to inform scaling decisions.
Continuously optimise initiatives based on performance data.
The Ideal Candidate
Must-Have
2–5 years of experience in community management, growth, partnerships, sales or operations, preferably in travel, fintech, consumer internet, or marketplaces.
Strong on-ground execution experience in the UAE.
Proven ability to run offline activations and partnerships.
Excellent problem-solving skills with high ownership mindset.
Comfortable handling customer escalations and premium clients.
Strong communication skills (English required; Arabic/Urdu is a plus).
Nice-to-Have
Experience in visas, travel services, relocation, or concierge businesses.
Prior startup or high-growth environment experience.
