Job requirements

The Job
As a People Operations Associate, you’ll own the day to day people engine of the company while supporting hiring and building a strong employee experience. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, founders, and the People team to keep things fast, compliant, and human.

People Operations

  • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, documentation, role changes, exits.

  • Maintain accurate employee data across HRIS and internal systems. Zero chaos, zero guesswork.

  • Run monthly people ops including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance support.

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, internal policies, and HR frameworks as we scale.

  • Act as the go-to person for everyday people ops questions. If it’s HR-related, it likely lands with you.


Employee Experience & Culture

  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team events, and company-wide moments.

  • Support internal communication and people-related announcements.

  • Help create an employee experience that feels structured but not corporate.


Performance & Development

  • Support performance cycles including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews.

  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives based on team needs.

  • Help managers and employees with performance documentation and processes.

Talent & Hiring Support

  • Support hiring through interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding logistics.

  • Maintain ATS hygiene and candidate pipelines as needed.

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep the hiring experience smooth and human.

Ideal Candidate

  • 2-4 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or similar roles. Startup or SaaS experience is a plus.

  • Strong hands-on experience with HR operations, engagement initiatives, and performance processes.

  • Solid understanding of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. You can handle multiple things without dropping the ball.

  • High discretion and comfort handling confidential information.
